Russia hits school and animal shelter in latest Odessa strike

Original version ·

Another night, another reminder that the Kremlin has no target too small or too innocent for their missiles.

So, the Russian military decided that a local school, a dorm, and a pet shelter were high-value strategic targets in the Odessa region. Eight people got hurt, but the cruelty doesn't stop at humans. The Loving Hearts shelter lost all their supplies and, tragically, a dozen innocent animals didn't make it.

It is the same script every time: wake up to explosions, check the news, find out a school or a warehouse full of plastic cups was the 'threat' to their empire. Just another night of trying to break people by hitting everything they care about.

Apparently, a school is a bigger threat to their national security than anything else.

Heartbreaking. Those poor animals never stood a chance.
+2 emotionalA classic display of human empathy, though it won't exactly stop the missiles

Imagine thinking a pet shelter is a military base. Pathetic.
+4 solidPointing out the obvious absurdity of the target is the bare minimum, but at least it's accurate
