Ballistic Strike on Odesa: Russia Hits an Enterprise, Killing Two

Original version ·

Another day, another "high-precision" ballistic missile. This time they targeted an enterprise in the Odesa region, because nothing says military threat quite like a local business.

It’s the same old routine, but it never gets any less infuriating. The Russian military decided to spend millions of dollars on a ballistic missile just to throw it at an industrial enterprise in the Odesa region.

The strike caused a massive fire, which the rescue teams managed to put out. But the tragic part is the human cost. Two people were killed on the spot, and thirteen others were injured. According to the local governor, Oleh Kiper, eleven of them had to be rushed to the hospital.

There was no military base there, just ordinary people going about their workday. Just another day in the Russian playbook of fighting against Ukrainian warehouses and local businesses.

Spending a multi-million dollar missile to fight a local warehouse is certainly a unique way to project superpower status.
