Novorossiysk just had a very bad, very fiery day

Original version ·

Looks like the Russian Black Sea fleet is having a rough time keeping their stuff in one piece lately.

It seems Novorossiysk has become the latest hotspot for Ukrainian long-range precision visits. The Security Service of Ukraine, the Navy, and the GUR teamed up to pay a visit to the local naval base and oil terminal.

They didn't just hit the oil infrastructure; they specifically targeted the carriers of Kalibr missiles. The irony of the Russian military having to watch their own precious hardware go up in smoke at home is not lost on anyone.

It turns out that when the war comes knocking at the front door, it hits a lot harder than those fancy televised parades suggest.

I wonder how many more of these 'incidents' it will take for them to realize it's a bad idea.
+5 solidA rhetorical question that assumes the target has the capacity for realization, which is a bold assumption indeed
