Even Norwegian politicians agreed: Storting backs tribunal for Russia

Original version ·

When was the last time you saw a parliament agree on literally anything? Well, the Norwegians just did it, and it's bad news for the Kremlin.

The Norwegian parliament, known as the Storting, just ratified joining both the Special Tribunal and the International Compensation Commission for Ukraine.

Yes, unanimously. Not a single "abstain," no endless political debates, no grandstanding. Just a collective, silent stamp of approval to get things moving.

This means Norway is officially on board to help set up the legal machinery that will put Russian leadership on trial and, more importantly, force them to pay for everything they broke.

When even the polite Nordics unanimously agree it is time to lawyer up and send the bill, the target of that bill should probably start sweating.
