12 nameless heroes laid to rest at the National Military Cemetery
A quiet, heavy ceremony just took place. Twelve more of our defenders, whose names we don't yet know, were buried with full military honors.
The National Military Memorial Cemetery just held a burial for twelve Ukrainian soldiers. They were brought from Volyn, Lviv, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv regions after all the legal and bureaucratic procedures were finally wrapped up.
The most heart-wrenching part? We still don't know who they are. They fought, they died, and right now, they are resting under temporary markers. The state is still running DNA tests and searching databases, trying to match these brave souls to the families waiting for them.
This isn't a one-off tragedy. There are already over 280 unidentified defenders buried at this memorial site.
A massive plot of land slowly filling up with nameless graves is the starkest, most painful reminder of the price being paid every single day.
