Musk throttled Ukraine’s Starshield, per WSJ
Remember how everyone swore nobody deliberately messed with Ukraine's military satellite connection? Yeah, about that.
According to US officials talking to WSJ, Musk personally ordered his team to throttle Starshield speeds in Ukraine.
The absurd part is the blame-shifting contest that played out in public. Musk publicly swore SpaceX has zero influence over Starshield and that only the military makes those calls. Trump stated that neither he nor Elon were responsible for Ukraine losing access. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the two of them were casually discussing the cutoff on the phone both before and after it hit the headlines.
Modern warfare apparently runs on whatever two guys decide over a private phone call between golf games.
