Over 70 missiles and 280 drones hit Ukraine while air defense holds line

Original version ·

Another brutal night across ten regions, proving again that delayed Western interceptors cost real lives.

Zelenskyy reported that Russia launched over 70 missiles and 280 drones across ten Ukrainian regions overnight. Ukrainian air defense shot down over 260 drones and dozens of cruise missiles — with mobile fire groups somehow pulling off miracles against cruise missiles using whatever gear they have.

Ukrainian defenders are performing near-impossible feats because partner air defense supply lines are chronically stalled. But grit alone cannot stop ballistic missiles. In Radushne, an Iskander-M hit a private home, killing six people including two young girls, while strikes in Lviv damaged homes and schools, and a Nova Poshta warehouse was set ablaze in Poltava region.

Partner delays on anti-ballistic interceptors translate directly into shattered lives and destroyed cities.

mobile fire groups taking down cruise missiles is insane skill, but they desperately need actual air defense missiles
