Ukrainian sea drones armed with FPVs just dismantled Russia's prized S-400 in Crimea
Naval drones carrying aerial drones sound like sci-fi, but GUR just made it a very expensive reality for Russian air defense.
Ukrainian intelligence decided that regular naval drones were getting too predictable, so they started using their unmanned boats as carrier platforms for FPV strike drones.
Using these Magura sea platforms, Group 13 managed to strike two launchers of Russia's multi-million-dollar S-400 Triumf system and an Orion drone control antenna in occupied Crimea.
The S-400 was marketed globally as an untouchable air defense system, but apparently its designers never factored in flying gadgets launched from unmanned jet skis.
A multi-million-dollar air defense battery being crippled by improvised drone tech remains the ultimate modern military irony.
