Rescuers search for survivors after Lviv strike

Original version ·

Russian missiles targeted residential neighborhoods in Lviv, leaving dozens injured and emergency crews working around the clock.

Another strike hit Lviv, targeting ordinary residential streets, a local school, and kindergartens. More than twenty apartment buildings took severe damage from the blast wave, turning quiet courtyards into debris fields overnight.

Emergency crews from the DSNS haven't paused search operations for a single minute. Two people are still feared trapped beneath the rubble of a five-story building where one victim was already recovered and dozens were left injured.

While repair crews try to fix severed gas lines and clear shattered glass across the neighborhood, search dogs and crews keep sifting through heavy concrete blocks.

Targeting residential blocks hundreds of miles behind the frontline remains the default maneuver for an army incapable of achieving anything on the actual battlefield.
