Another sleepless night in Kyiv: casualties rise after enemy strike
The aftermath of the latest night attack on Kyiv is grim, with several residents needing medical help after the air raid sirens faded.
It’s the same old exhausting routine. The Russian military decided to send a massive swarm of drones and a couple of missiles our way overnight. While Ukraine's air defense did its best to clean up the sky, the reality is that twelve people, including two children, were injured by the debris.
The authorities have already set up a help station on Trostianetska Street to deal with the damage. It is a harsh reminder that even when the majority of these things are shot down, the debris has to land somewhere. It just happens that it usually lands on our homes.
Normalizing living in a giant shooting range is a skill nobody wanted to master.
