Rescue ends at Kyiv high-rise: 30 dead from Russian strike
Rescuers in Kyiv have finished digging through the rubble of an ordinary nine-story residential building. The final toll is thirty people who just wanted to sleep in their own beds.
The search is over in the Darnytskyi district. A completely normal apartment block, the kind most people live in, was split open by a Russian missile. It took days of clearing concrete to find everyone. Thirty lives ended just because a hostile neighbor decided a residential block was a threat to their empire.
No military bases, no ammo depots. Just kitchens, bedrooms, and people who did not make it to the corridor in time.
Apparently, demilitarizing Ukraine now means fighting civilian bedrooms.
