Russian drone hits a 25-story tower in Kyiv: two dead
Another quiet evening in Kyiv ruined because apparently a high-rise courtyard was deemed a primary target.
A Russian drone crashed right into the yard of a 25-story residential building in the Darnytskyi district. Two people were killed: a 59-year-old woman and someone who was simply sitting in their car outside. At least seven others were wounded, including a 17-year-old girl suffering from shrapnel and glass cuts.
Flames quickly took over apartments on the fourth and fifth floors, while the blast wave swept through the parking lot below. At least 12 cars and two motorcycles were instantly reduced to charred scrap metal right outside people's front doors.
Those parked civilian hatchbacks must have looked terrifying on satellite reconnaissance.
