Emergency services are rushing between districts like they are playing a lethal game of whack-a-mole. It’s hard to keep track of the numbers when every headline feels like a repeat of the last one. One moment it's Holosiivskyi, the next it's Obolon or Desnianskyi. The official reports from Vitaliy Klitschko just keep stacking up with names and figures that represent actual human lives cut short.
Some still pretend this is just background noise, but the city keeps paying the price for existing.
