Kyiv death toll rises to 27 after another brutal night of "demilitarization"

Original version ·

Just when we hope the rescue operations are over and the numbers have settled, the hospitals deliver the worst kind of updates.

We are looking at yet another grim update from the recent massive missile and drone strike on Kyiv. The death toll has just crawled up to 27 after another severely wounded person passed away in the hospital. There are still 91 people injured, and the damage spans literally every single district of the capital.

The absolute worst of it hit a regular residential building in the Darnytskyi District. It's the same old horrific routine: Russia fires everything they have at civilian homes, and then we spend days digging through the rubble and counting who didn't make it.

No military targets, no strategic breakthroughs—just ruined apartments and families shattered in their sleep.

But sure, let's keep debating if defending Ukraine's airspace is "escalation."
