Ballistic wake-up call: Kyiv hit by overnight missile strike
Another sleepless night in the capital, courtesy of our lovely neighbors who still think blowing up warehouses is a viable military strategy.
The night was loud, to say the least. Russian forces decided to launch a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv, because apparently, nothing says "geopolitical dominance" like setting logistics hubs on fire. The main targets turned out to be industrial warehouses and parked trucks in the Svyatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts.
Two people lost their lives in the chaos, and several others were injured, including a teenager. While firefighters were busy putting out the flames, the local emergency services had to deal with burning administrative buildings and cargo trucks that did absolutely nothing to deserve this.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed that several injured people had to be hospitalized. It is the same old script: loud bangs, bright flashes, and emergency crews working through the smoke to save what is left of civilian infrastructure.
Targeting random warehouses with multi-million dollar ballistic missiles remains the pinnacle of military genius.
