Kyiv hit by heavy ballistic strike: fire, casualties, and chaos
Another morning in Kyiv starts with sirens and wreckage after a massive barrage.
So, the capital got hit by a serious ballistic barrage overnight. Multiple districts were targeted, including Solomianskyi, Podilskyi, and Dniprovskyi. We are looking at two dead and at least eight people injured, including a police officer.
The scale of the destruction is just random and cruel. Warehouses burned to the ground, cars turned into scrap metal near a maternity ward, and administrative buildings left looking like Swiss cheese. People were pulled from the rubble of private houses while others were treated for smoke inhalation.
It is becoming a twisted routine of assessing damage while the rescue crews finish putting out the fires. Just another reminder that for the people responsible for these launches, there is absolutely no target too civilian or too absurd to hit.
