40 dead in Komyshuvakha: The world is still scrolling past

Original version ·

Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirms the death toll after the strike on a bunker-school is rising, but international reaction remains suspiciously quiet.

It’s been three days of digging through the ruins of a school in Komyshuvakha, but the numbers keep getting worse. Volodymyr Zelenskyy just confirmed the death toll has hit 40, and there’s a grim reality that over 30 more people are likely still buried under the rubble. The place was literally being used as a hub for aid distribution when it was hit by nine aerial bombs.

Rescue crews are basically working under constant threat of being bombed again. Meanwhile, the global response to this is... what response? Absolute silence. It’s the same old story: an absolute atrocity happens, and the world just keeps on scrolling like it’s a random ad on a feed.

When the world treats mass murder as background noise, it pretty much guarantees the next strike will be even bigger.

The silence from international media is deafening. Why are they hiding this?
