An RPG Round Dropped into a Sleeping Toddler's Crib in Kherson
A Russian drone launched an explosive round straight through a bedroom window and into a two-year-old’s bed. Somehow, nobody was hurt.
In Kherson, Russian drone operators decided a regular residential home was a prime military target. A drone approached a house in the city center and sent an unexploded munition crashing through the window.
It didn't just shatter the glass — the warhead landed straight inside the crib where a two-year-old boy was fast asleep, and by some absolute miracle, failed to detonate.
The mother grabbed the child and rushed to the nearest hospital, where doctors confirmed the boy didn't have a single scratch. Police and volunteers quickly arranged an evacuation for the family to a safer city after carefully removing the ordnance from the baby cot.
Surviving a literal bomb falling directly into one's bed at age two pretty much sets the bar for luck for the rest of a lifetime.
