Another bloody day in Kharkiv: casualties rise after aerial strikes
The death toll from the latest Russian air raids on Kharkiv has unfortunately climbed higher as rescue efforts continue.
The situation in Kharkiv remains grim after another round of Russian strikes. The city was hit by guided aerial bombs and drones, turning ordinary neighborhoods into targets. Three people have lost their lives, and nearly thirty others are injured, including children just trying to live their lives.
The strikes hit a residential building and a gas station, because apparently, civilian infrastructure is the preferred military target these days. Among the victims is a janitor, just a regular person doing their job. Ihor Terekhov, the mayor, has been keeping everyone updated on the mounting numbers, which, frankly, never get any easier to hear.
It is becoming a daily routine of reading casualty lists instead of news. War has a way of normalizing the unthinkable.
