Russian strike on a Kharkiv high-rise leaves 42 injured and 2 dead
Another day, another Russian "military target" hit. This time, it’s a regular five-story residential building in Kharkiv, because apparently, cozy Ukrainian apartments are a massive threat.
The toll from the strike in the Nemyshlyanskyi district has crawled up to 42 injured. Two people are dead. Among those hurt are four children, including a toddler, because why would a Russian missile miss a chance to ruin a childhood?
Rescuers are still digging through the concrete slabs. The local governor, Oleh Syniehubov, noted on Telegram that emergency crews are lifting heavy plates just to check the floor below. A regular residential block is now a smoking pile of concrete, and nobody knows for sure if the rubble is done giving up its grim secrets.
Some people still wonder why air defense is a daily political debate instead of a basic human right.
