Russia targets streetlights and a church in another senseless strike on Kharkiv
Because nothing screams 'strategic military objective' like some residential bungalows, street lamps, and a church's windows. Our neighbors are back at it again, proving their rockets have the precision of a blindfolded toddler.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov shared the details of the latest morning "demilitarization" of Kharkiv. Missiles hit the Nemyshlyansky and Osnovyansky districts, proving once again that the Kremlin's tactical maps must be from the Middle Ages.
The glorious list of hit targets includes over 20 private residential houses, five cars, a local street lighting network, and the windows of a church. It remains unclear whether the streetlights presented an active threat to national security, but they are gone now.
Thankfully, no one was killed this time. Two residents are being treated for acute stress, which is probably the most polite way to describe the feeling of having a multi-million dollar missile land in your backyard while you are trying to have your morning coffee.
This follows another brutal attack just a day earlier, which left one person dead and over twenty injured.
Somewhere in Moscow, some colonel is probably receiving a medal for brave combat against a dangerous Ukrainian street lamp.
