Kharkiv hit by Russian glide bombs again

Original version ·

Just another afternoon in Kharkiv where the city skyline is interrupted by Russian airstrikes.

It feels like the new normal: five Russian KAB guided bombs slammed into the city today. The strikes hit a residential area and a secondary location, leaving at least six people wounded, including a teenager. Emergency services are still digging through the mess to figure out exactly how many people didn't make it, as Ihor Terekhov (male) and Oleh Syniehubov (male) scramble to confirm the casualty reports.

These aren't military targets, just neighborhoods. Every time the city seems to get a tiny breath of air, the pattern repeats.

The indifference with which these bombs are dropped into the middle of a dense city center is the only thing more exhausting than the news itself.
