Jet Shahed Hits Passenger Train in Odesa: Locomotive Crew Killed
A jet drone slammed directly into a passenger train locomotive in Odesa, killing the crew who stayed at the controls to save hundreds of passengers.
Russian forces targeted an active passenger train in the Odesa region using a jet-powered Shahed drone, striking the locomotive dead-on.
When the drone threat was flagged, the crew followed protocol and immediately began guiding the train into the nearest station to evacuate everyone. The driver and his assistant managed to pull in and save all 340 passengers without a single injury, but ran out of seconds to bring the heavy engine to a full stop and escape themselves.
Ukrzaliznytsia confirmed that the direct impact left neither the driver nor his assistant any chance of survival.
Spending an upgraded jet drone just to hunt down a civilian passenger train and kill the two people trying to brake it says everything about the enemy's priorities.
