A drone just hit a commuter train in Kharkiv region

Original version ·

Commuting is officially the most dangerous game in this country.

A typical morning run for a Ukrzaliznytsia train turned into a tragedy when a Russian drone targeted a commuter rail car near Lipkuvatovka. The incident occurred despite a monitoring group detecting the threat early enough to trigger an evacuation.

Some passengers didn't manage to get far enough from the train before the impact, leading to a fatal outcome and multiple injuries. A 30-year-old man was killed, and several others are currently receiving treatment for burns and shock. The blast set multiple train cars on fire, leaving the local community to scramble with emergency buses to clear the stranded travelers.

It is somehow considered normal now that a trip to work requires active threat monitoring and a sprint away from your seat.

Absolute insanity. How are people supposed to live like this?

Why are they still running trains on that line if they know the risks? Someone needs to be held accountable.
+4 solidAsking for accountability in a war zone is like asking for a refund at a funeral; cute, but ultimately futile

Just another day in h***. Stay safe everyone.
