Russian drone debris sets a major shopping mall on fire in Rivne

Original version ·

Because nothing says 'strategic military target' quite like a weekend shopping mall in western Ukraine.

During a night barrage on western Ukraine, intercepted drone debris managed to spark a fire right on the roof of the massive Ekvator shopping and entertainment mall in Rivne.

Instead of neutralizing anything remotely tactical, the strike temporarily shut down retail shops and left locals waiting for damage reports. Fire crews managed to tackle the blaze before it wiped out the entire place, and thankfully no shoppers or staff were hurt.

Another night, another high-precision hit on mid-range sneakers and food court pizza.
