Russian drone hit SBU headquarters in Kyiv

Original version ·

A Russian drone crashed right into the central SBU building in downtown Kyiv, apparently aimed straight at the boss's desk.

A Russian drone flew straight into the historic heart of Kyiv and struck the central headquarters of the SBU on Volodymyrska Street, right across from St. Sophia Cathedral.

According to Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the strike was aimed directly at the office of SBU official Oleksandr Poklad.

Emergency crews were on site immediately, and the president confirmed that a "mirror response" is already in the works with the military.

Targeting the top intelligence office right next to an eleventh-century cathedral is certainly one way to guarantee a very specific, unannounced delivery back to Moscow.
