Drapatyi takes AFU helm and names Skybiuk as chief

Fresh leadership is officially stepping into the top military command, and they're skipping the speeches to get straight to work.

Major General Mykhailo Drapatyi has officially taken charge as Commander-in-Chief of the AFU. Instead of grand manifestos, he kicked things off by appointing Major General Ihor Skybiuk as Chief of the General Staff.

The two aren't strangers. They ran joint operations back in 2022 from a single command post during the liberation of Kherson. Now, the top task list includes scaling up offensive operations across all domains and launching new strikes deep behind enemy lines.

No cinematic promises were delivered, just a blunt focus on technology, results, and keeping people alive while holding the line.
