Operation "Crimean Circuit Breaker" turns the lights out on 17 power hubs

Original version ·

It turns out Ukraine's drone force has a very specific hobby: systematically deleting the power grid in occupied territories.

The Unmanned Systems Forces have been busy. Within a short 48-hour window, they managed to hit 19 electrical substations, with the vast majority sitting in Crimea. Robert Brovdi, known as Madyar, casually dropped the update, confirming that 17 hubs in Crimea and two in the Donetsk region are now officially out of commission.

This isn't just about random targets; this is a surgical operation dubbed "Crimean Circuit Breaker." Since the start of July, the total count of energy targets neutralized has climbed to 136. Whatever the goal is, the sheer volume of strikes suggests that the lights in the occupied zones might be staying off for a while.

It is hard to keep the grid running when the infrastructure is treated like a game of Whack-a-Mole.

That's a lot of dark nights ahead. Love to see it.

Are we just going to ignore the logistics of how they pulled off 19 hits in 48 hours? That's insane.
